FRONDA has brought together a number of organizations, institutions, and collaborators to produce a project aimed at art creation, exhibition, and education: SiMBiOSiS SyMBiOSiS Convergence of Visual Artists Mexico-Canada 2010.

¡The 2010 Artists’ Residence Begins!

SiMBiOSiS SyMBiOSiS is a bi-national initiative that involves the participation of an interdisciplinary group of artists to promote cultural exchange between Mexico and Canada.

SiMBiOSiS SyMBiOSiS is an artists’ residence that will be held from April to June 2010, in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico. It will be composed of dialogues, lectures, roundtables, talks, and cultural activities that involve interaction with the community, as well as contact with students and local artists. It will culminate in two exhibitions and the publication of a memoir on the event.

We are honored to have the support of the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo (UAEH) and the State Council for Culture and the Arts of Hidalgo (CECULTAH). This sponsorship will permit a wider circle of interaction and impact with the community and with students in the state of Hidalgo.
